If my grandson joins the military or he is ever drafted and he goes to
Iraq or Afghanistan-
Will he be taking guns from INNOCENT, freedom-loving, non-violent
civilians on their streets?
Will he be throwing candy and soccer balls (like, from a tank) at
kids ?
Will his buddies be yelling 4-letter words at kids and women- just
like U.S. troops did in Vietnam ?.
Will his buddies be shooting water-buffalo- like in Vietnam ?
will his buddies burn down villages of the INNOCENT?
Will he be in a helicopter while some pilot dives down at
farmers in their fields, scaring them half to death! (formerly the
farmers were in rice paddies)
will his buddies be skrewing underage girls ?
OR-
Will he be giving, loaning or selling (on a time payment plan, for
instance) things that Iraqi and Afghan people REALLY NEED:
Like- home electric generators; propane stoves; solar ovens; sewing
machines (so they can make their own clothes); hand-held water
purifiers; seeds; ballistic vests, steel helmets with liner; armored
school buses; handguns and lots of bullets so they can PROTECT
THEMSELVES (and my grandson can come home a few days after he gets
there)
Let me know what kinds of things my grandson might be doing to help
those people DO FOR THEMSELVES !
Then tell me, if there IS any worthy thing he will do over ther there-
why it wouldn't be more effective, cheaper and SAFER for him to join
the military and train those people OVER HERE where it's a lot
SAFER,he can do a better job without worrying about bullets flying
around!!!!
I figure you've got a lot of explaining to do before ANY kid would
consider joining the U.S. military these days!
