The Marine Corps

[Morpheus The Sinful Weeper]

Hello all,

I need some information about the Marine Corps, I want to see all the
possible MOS and what is the best way to become a marine recon, what is life
like in marine infantry or should i go for something else ?
I had a 74 score on ASVAB and think I should try for something else but I
want to be promoted quickly in rank and earn respect plus war skills

How is life in the military? daily life, etc?
what things are there to do in base? etc

Have you talked to a recruiter yet? They could best answer the questions on
the different jobs available and such. Also, this is us.military.army and I
don't know if we've got any Marines around. You could try a Navy newsgroup
if the Marines don't have their own since the Navy and Marine Corps are
closely related.

1) What do expect to be respected for?
2) And from whom to you expect this respect to come from?
