Description: Primary skills:
1. Minimum 5+ years of Information Technology Project Management experience.
2. Responsible for the strategic direction & maintenance of the project portfolio.
3. Ability to manage multiple small – mid-size projects simultaneously.
4. Ability to manage and coordinate across multiple development teams to ensure end to end product delivery.
5. Work with the architects and engineers to derive technical solutions.
6. Maintain a high level understanding of the supported infrastructure and software applications in order to provide design input and accurately document specifications.
7. Ensure design and code reviews are conducted and standard coding practices are followed for every release.
8. Have a comprehensive understanding of the active project load and technology work efforts in order to identify and mitigate cross impacts.
9. Maintain and manage the overall plan of activities, coordinate work across all participating organizations including 3rd party vendor activities.
10. Coordinate knowledge transfer and release management with Infrastructure and Operations or other cross impacted support team(s).
11. Ability to assign appropriate staffing and allocation of resources across projects.
12. Utilize time tracking tools to manage the overall budget and ensure accurate financial estimating and reporting, inclusive of change controls.
13. Work hands on with business partners and stakeholders to document workflows and business requirements.
14. Excellent communicator with project team and stakeholders.
15. Manage project level issues and escalate appropriately.
16. Software Development Lifecycle experience with the supplementary ability to assist in defining standards and facilitating the adoption of those standards across the IT and business organizations.
17. Hands on experience in and willingness to document in depth Business Requirements, Use Cases, Functional Specifications, Work Flows, Design Documentation, Release Plans, etc.
18. Hands on experience in planning, testing and supporting the System Integration Testing (SIT) phase of the PLC.
19. MS Project, MS Office Suite of applications, Sharepoint
20. Knowledge and experience of formal Project Management tools and methodologies.
Secondary skills:
1. Knowledge of PMBOK
2. Real Estate Industry knowledge is preferred
3. Experience of working on ERP / JD Edwards Projects
4. Experience of managing .Net software development projects
5. Issues management and tracking
6. Real Estate / Engineering / Finance / Property Management IT projects experience
7. PMO experience
8. Business Analyst experience
Description of role:
1. Initiates, plans, executes and closes IT projects
2. Create business case studies / vision statement for project
3. Participate in project approval process
4. Set and manage expectations
5. Identify scope and approach for projects
6. Creates and manage project work plans
7. Performs change management functions for project scope, schedule and cost
8. Performs issues and risk management functions
9. Perform Quality Management functions
10. Compute and track project metrics and perform status reporting report
11. Document and implement communication plans
12. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
13. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
14. Effectively applies Project Management methodology and enforces project standards.
15. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
16. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
17. Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a periodic basis.
18. Manages project budget.
19. Perform trend analysis for Earned Value, Estimate to complete, Schedule and cost variances.
20. Perform Contract administration for outsourced projects
21. Perform lessons learned activities
22. Perform Project Management mentoring to team leads and junior PMs
