Description: Senior Production Build/Release UNIX Engineer candidates will have five years+ of experience with large-scale builds on a Unix or Linux platform (majority of experience should be on be on a Unix Platform) and have an in-depth knowledge of software configuration, build engineering and Perl applications development as well as knowledge of an application development support model with excellent English verbal and written communication skills including excellent organization skills and must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with Korn Shell, UNIX make/GNU make/nmake, building executables using make files, troubleshooting Compile and Build Failures, using source code control systems (e.g.: RCS, Subversion, CVS,ClearCase) and Fortran, C and C++. Bright candidates who enjoy solving complex problems. The selected Senior Production Build/Release UNIX Engineer candidates will join a world-class expert-level Production Support team that is looking to augment their current talent with a self-motivated, highly experienced Senior Build/Release Engineer who will support and improve the company's production build and release environment, work closely with R&D Application Areas and R&D Operations Teams, and help reduce operational risk by improving the overall quality of the company's core product set.
Qualified Senior Production Build/Release UNIX Engineer candidates will have five years+ of experience with large-scale builds on a Unix or Linux platform (majority of experience should be on be on a Unix Platform) and have an in-depth knowledge of software configuration, build engineering and Perl applications development as well as knowledge of an application development support model with excellent English verbal and written communication Skills as well as excellent organization skills and must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
