Designed highly automated Excel mark to market model,
reporting and analyzing $1.7 billion mortgage pipeline.
Used model to summarize loan volume, theoretical gain/loss,
and impact of offsetting hedge position on an ongoing basis,
reporting directly to head trader.
Determined appropriate quarterly discount rates on an option
adjusted spread basis by benchmarking to recently traded
servicing portfolios.
Developed hedge ratio model comparing prices and durations
of relevant mortgage securities. Used model to analyze
broker calculated prices and durations including Goldman
Sachs and DLJ, regress Knight Ridder prices utilizing
automated DDE link, and input Bloomberg regressions. Ratios
used as assumptions in position report to adjust pipeline
volumes for use by traders. Created Access database for
compilation of historical data.
Designed and implemented model to proof system-calculated
excess servicing fees, utilizing automated excess multiple
feed and automated decision analysis.
Responsible for weekly data transfer regarding refinance
versus purchase loan application volumes for mortgage
industry index utilizing AT&T Mail Access and PGP encryption.

mortgage pipeline on an ad hoc basis.
