Managed OSMINE (Operations Systems Integration and Modification of
Network Elements) support for Tellabs and Telcordia (Bellcore).
TITAN5500/5300 (Tellabs Integrated Transport Adaptive Network)
interoperability with the RBOCs' large embedded base of operations
systems. Primary Responsibilities included Managing/reviewing/conducting/scheduling testing with Telcordia
(Bellcore) and other equipment vendors (LUCENT, Heikmian,
Anritsu, and TTC). Attended Telcordia (Bellcore) Next Generation
Network Seminar.
Responsibilities:
· Achieved business goals by implementing innovative OSMINE
(NMA, OPS/INE, TEMS) testing solutions while working very closely
with System Engineering, Project Management, Development
and Telcordia (Bellcore).
· Provided technical expertise on OAM&P (Operations, Administration, Maintenance, and Provisioning) of Digital Cross-Connects to Tellabs,
Telcordia (Bellcore) and Vendors.
· Tested all the new software feature packages prior to Vendor release
and performed problem resolution in conjunction with development
and system engineering.
· Critiqued final test reports, including NMA, TEMS, & OPS/INE,
which were released to RBOC, and provide feedback to Telcordia.
· Offered expertise and provided input at monthly core team meetings
with Vendors, evaluated and ensured customer requirements were met.
· Implemented Remote Access connectivity to access next generation Telecommuting.
· Utilized innovative approaches and developed solutions to resolve
product failures.
· Researched and offered recommendations regarding Software/Hardware
purchases.
· Worked very closely with customers and conducted interoperability
testing (NMA, OPS/INE, TEMS).
· Performed testing and validation of all technical documents
related to TITAN5500/5300.
NORTHERN TELECOM (NORTEL) - Dallas, TX 10/97 to 10/98

· Designed and developed custom features for customers of the
DMS-250 switch. Specific duties included requirement analysis,
documentation of functional specifications, design research,
detailed design, feature implementation, and design test.
· Performed table control, which included table translation,
data fill, and overnight process.
· Provisioned the DMS-250 switch by performing integration,
testing, diagnostics and administered corrective action to
provide a stable software/hardware environment
for weekly loads.
· Analyzed Problem Reports (PRs) by thorough investigation, identified
the problem and solution, provided a forecast resolution date and
resolved the problem within the milestone.
· Transcribed procedures and documentation to maintain
hardware\software integrity and provided traceability for
problem analysis.
TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, Secret Clearance - Dallas, TX 10/95 to 10/97
SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER
Managed/Developed and released a MITS (Manufacturing Information
Tracking system). Its client-server based architecture allowed
for a centralized database, which served and tracked operations
in delivery scheduling and order placement for U.S. Gov. Significant
attentions were paid to make the front-end user friendly. Later
on this project was re-engineer by utilizing web-based technology.
Responsibilities:
· Development of GUI screens using Visual Basic 5.0. Creation and
manipulation of MS-Access.
· Data Manipulation in SQL data server.
· Designed and developed GUI by dynamic generation of HTML response
pages using JAVASCRIPT, CGI and HTML.
· Performed user authentication for system security.
· Developed Unit Test Plans and performed System testing and
trouble-shooting.
TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Secret Clearance - Oklahoma City, OK 5/93 to 10/95
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
· Responsible for the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
of hardware and real-time software for a large-scale Industrial
Automation Control System which, increased efficiency of production
and reduced cost/time spent on defining defects. Effectively contributed
