 Initiating and implementing potential upgrades to the existing design or systems, calculating weight estimates, reviewing and modifications to the existing contract documents, and maintaining accurate contract drawings depicting all changes which have stemmed from any of the cognizant engineering groups (April 1999 - Present).

 Supported PMS385D Strategic Sealift through ensuring concurrence with contractual requirements including Ship Specifications, MSC T-Ship and Navy General Specifications, USCG Code of Federal Regulations, ABS Ruled for Steel Vessels, and other commercial standards for the Damage Control Books for the T-AKR 300 USNS Bob Hope and T-AKR 301 USNS Fisher (March 1999).

 Researched and validated The Commercial Shipbuilding Requirements file which is part of the SEALINk 2000 web site. This is a comprehensive overview of rules and regulations that govern commercial ship design and construction. Links between the GPO's online web site that define specific codes or CFRs are setup to correspond to the Commercial Shipbuilding Requirements referencing rule (November 1998 - January 1999).

 Provided engineering assistance to SUPSHIP New Orleans at Avondale Shipyard in preparation for the delivery of USNS Bob Hope. Worked with a team of engineers to map onboard the systems for verification of each component's correct identification. (November 1998).
