* Implemented a new brand based strategy to counter price compression at retail and to establish a higher margin line of products. Acquired two marine businesses that provided the alternative brands for specific niche opportunities. Market share of higher priced units grew by 8%.
* Developed international market-specific products and reorganized marketing organization. Led directly to export revenue growth over 14% in an otherwise depressed marine market.
* Acquired strategic interest in wireless communications business to leverage technology and manufacturing. This alliance improved seasonal factory utilization and led to development of two new wireless products.
