Staats Fasoldt is coming to The Duck Pond gallery and he is
bringing some of his latest paintings. He is on the Board of Directors
of the Woodstock School of Art where he has taught for 25 years, He is
a member of the Woodstock Artist零 Association and The Art Society of
Kingston. Staats graduated from the MFA program at Suny New Paltz and
has been painting the Hudson Valley Landscape ever since.
My paintings are interpretations of nature that stress spontaneity and
simplicity. I靶e chosen to paint in watercolor because of the mediums
quick tempo, it's immaculate transparency, and because I have all this
equipment.
Come and meet Staats and see his work Saturday April 3 from 5-7pm at
the Port Ewen Library's Duck Pond Gallery, quack,quack.
