java 7 and urlrewrite

Hello, I have compiled urlrewritefilter with ant, using jdk7.
during deploy of my web app i get the following warning:
warning: Supported source version 'RELEASE_6' from annotation
processor
'org.tuckey.web.filters.urlrewrite.annotation.UrlRewriteAnnotationProcessor'
less than -source '1.7'
everything however seems to be working. it just complained about some
UTF8 chars during compile.
what can I do about the above warning, and does it really matter?
