Hey Guys,

I am trying to import urchin 5 profile to urchin 6. I have imported
few profiles successfully but suddenly i got the error 8005-577-457,
failed to open database file.

I have restarted sql service and urchin, and did everything I possibly
could.

Could you please help me fix this

Thank you
Mottai

Hello Mottai,

Please make sure that any of the
/path/to/urchin5/lib/reporting/profiletypes/Campaign_with_E-
Commerce_Website/datamap.dm or
/path/to/urchin5/lib/custom/profiletypes/Campaign_with_E-
Commerce_Website/datamap.dm file
exists and is accessible for reading to Urchin conversion utility.

Hi Max,

Thanks for your response.

I did a quick search on the urchin 5 directory and I could find the
datamap.dm file you had mentioned. The file is also accessible for
reading to urchin conversion utility. The import was running smoothly
before and I got the error i mentioned after importing a few profiles.
It appears the server had installed updates and rebooted while urchin
was running convert-u5data.

Thank you
Mottai

Any suggestions?

Make sure all the data files are unarchived. If you have the original
webserver logfiles around, you'd be better off just reprocessing them
in Urchin 6.

All files have been unarchived. but i am still getting this error. I
think the process is not even getting to the profiles. I tried
importing a profile which did not exist but the error remains the
same. this happens in a split second.
It's not going through the process of reading profiles.

Hi Mottakutti,

Did you try running Sanitizer on the Urchin 5 profiles? It sounds like
they may have been corrupted at some point, possibly while the server
restarted during the convert process. You may be able to roll-back to
a previous backup and then be able to run the convert process without
any problems.

Hi Jeremy,

I have copied the data folder of urchin 5 to an external drive and got
rid of the urchin 5 server. The data folder of urchin 5 is a mapped
drive on the urchin 6 server. So, the sanitizer would only work for
urchin 6 profile.

Hi Mottai,

Your best now is probably to manually delete (don't use sanitizer) the
data for the Urchin 6 profile that's giving you the error. Go to data/
reports/%28NONE%29. You should see a directory with the name of the
profile that's giving you trouble. Delete this directory. Then try
running the conversion process for this profile.
