hi,

i have a question. we have one profile, with utm activated and the
"exclude robots" filter. In the IT Reports under "Browser Versions"
and "Robots" i have the same useragents with the same numbers. "Java"
and " Jakarta Commons HttpClient" both with 10M hits. Why it is in the
Robots and in the Browsers Report? ... and what is with this hits, are
they in the reports counted or not?

many thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Ringo,

The number of hits is how many request that browser/user agent made to
the web server. If you are seeing these in the robots report, then no,
they are not being counted in the visits or pageview reports.
