I am not a techie, but my tech team asked me to find out if we could
move our Urchin 5 from our Linux box to a Windows Server 2003 box.

Can anyone tell me if this is do-able without buying a new license??

I know in their "help" pages it says that moving from one box to
another would be fine and we'd just have to re-activate the license,
but I need to find out if that's accurate for moving platforms as
well. For starters, how do we get a Windows based file to install...

Can anyone help out??

Thanks!

Hi Craig,

Yes, you can do cross-platform moves on Urchin 5. See this help article for more information:

If re-activation doesn't work, you may need an Urchin Reseller such as ourselves to reset your license when you move Urchin to the new server.

I'll send you a download link for a copy of the Windows software.
