Is the Urchin software being discontinued?

Support and input to devs for it has been very poor since Google
bought it. A little more information would be helpful

Urchin is not being discontinued, v7 being the biggest indicator of this.  I agree that there has been a noticeable decline in frequency of releases, but I do have to say that from our view as a reseller we see constant work being done on the product to maintain and advance it.  

Support has indeed declined since Google bought Urchin over 6 years ago now - they've simply applied a reseller model, so the only channel through which you can get support is via a reseller now.  The different resellers all offer different levels of support and service, so the best option to get support you need is to find a reseller that you can trust and has an offering that fits your needs.
