It would be nice to agree on some standard payment so that drivers
weren't left with the uncomfortable burden of "charging" passengers,
and so that prices didn't vary by driver, thus possibly creating
uncomfortable feelings.
Thoughts?

Last week everyone in the van chipped in $25. That was about right to cover the gas in the van. - Tom

If you are willing to bring your car/truck/van - I am a good person passenger!
Tanya
Those riding with me have to listen to bad music, get to pee only when I
have to, and watch me eat vast quantities of unhealthy foods (at least
according to Jen and Juliana). My gear stinks, so the car smells bad.
And people generally fall asleep because I'm really boring. Tolerating
all that is surely payment enough.

Passengers should be paying their share of gas, the drivers shuttle
($10 total) and a bit extra for wear and tear. Putting the driver's
kids through Princeton seems like a bit much to expect.
I also laughed out loud and loved the joke --Jeaninne's !
Take care Jeannine and I really look forward to the end of tax season when you can join us again!
Carrie
Thanks all, for your thoughtful input. :)
