Creative Commons is not enough for many of us who professionally write. By law, technically our work is copywrited once fixed in a tangible medium. Unfortunately it seems others on the net like to steal our work in the RSS transmission and act as if they created it -- sometimes making a profit on ads, which is in direct violation of copyright law.
Since many of us cannot afford to purchase copyrights for every piece of work online -- in the United States, if we do not display a proper copyright notice, we will not have any legal option to force replicators of our content to cease and desist since they can claim "innocent use" of our feed.
I like feedburner and the professional feel you give to my feed -- however I am still the content creator, and would apprechiate a service that allows me to express that easier. I also like creative commons and the new trend it has started -- but there are times when I prefer standard disclaimers.
I think the option to include: Copyright (c) (year) (website domain) on the bottom of every feed post should be standard. This would also be very easy to do I would imagine.
Thanks.

That's a good idea. There's on option you can do right away, and that's to use our FeedFlare service to display that copyright notice for each item. You can use our GenericFeedFlare to quickly add this. For example, if you want this notice for www.yourdomain.com, you could add this URL as your personal FeedFlare:
Just change the values to reflect what your site. You can also include the copyright element in your source feed, but that generally isn't displayed anywhere.
