Subject: WishList: Manage Nicknames

Please consider allowing group managers to edit the nicknames of the group
members.

We use Google Groups to send out club announcements to a very small group
of older folks.  They barely understand how to send messages into the
@goolgegroups.com address to announce things to the rest of the group.
Most have never visited the actual Google Groups site, and have no idea of
how to update their nicknames.  This causes a problem when trying to export
a list of club members to the club president, etc.   The nickname field is
one field that seems to be locked when editing the members as a manager.

If the group manager(s) could edit the nickname field we would have a much
easier time ensuring the correct people are on the list (or are not on the
list in some cases).

Note: Please note that some of our older members do not want to get a
standard Google account to take advantage of going online with Google.
They only want to get club messages from the @googlegroups.com address to
their non-Google email accounts.

Thanks,

TechBuddha
