Hi SGHers :)

Tomorrow we're having a bake sale in front of the bookstore from 10am - 3pm. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please bake goodies if you can. We don't have nearly enough to sell at this point. You can bring the treats by the table at 10am (or as soon as you can make it). Also, Kelly Moon (our tabling coordinator) should be texting you to remind you what time you're tabling. We still need people from 10-11am, and we could used your help at any point. Please consider stopping by for an hour and hanging out. A crowd tends to attract a crowd :)

We'll also be selling sweatshirts and Face AIDS pins, and we'll have a sign up sheet for our list serve. Please rep these things as well! Any money collected for pins or sweatshirts should be kept separate from bake sale money. There will be separately marked envelopes for these things in the bottom of the cash box.

Tomorrow night's meeting:

-We'll watch the first half of a very compelling documentary called THE END OF POVERTY? Think Again. This documentary is definitely worth your time to see and then some.
-Please come to the meeting to pick up your baking ware/dishes etc. from the bake sale earlier in the day.

Also this week:

-Thursday night at 7PM in PLC 180 Slavery Still Exists Speaker Night: Colonel Bill Hillar, Steve Gutzler and Cyndi Romine from Compassion2One; and Mike Hogan from International Justice Mission speak about the issue of human trafficking and what can be done to combat it. I encourage you all to attend this event! Text me if you need a buddy to sit with.

-SGH is having our 3rd International Potluck at my place (18th & Harris) this Sunday at 5pm. This will be our last chance to socialize together before summer. I hope you all can make it! Check the Facebook event for more details. Or call/text me.

Go and be great!
