Feb. 4th, 9:00am at the Stockton Beautiful Rose Garden  located at Victory Park (Back-up rain date Sun. Feb. 5th)   Stockton Beautiful's Rose Garden at Victory Park Garden is nearing 5 years old and it is important to maintain this young treasure! We have a great event planned which hopes to expose the garden and the volunteer opportunities to many new visitors.    Due to a generous donation from Star  Roses, the FIRST 100 VOLUNTEERS TO ARRIVE BEFORE 9AM will receive a free Bare Root Rose!   In addition, we will be giving away Door Prizes! Each volunteer will be  entered to win some tickets for the Stockton Thunder! Special Guest Speaker: Terry Reilly, Co-Founder of the Friends of the San Jose Rose Garden will lead the event.  Through the efforts with volunteers, in a partnership with the City of San Jose, The San Jose Municipal Rose Garden was awarded the title of "America's Best Rose Garden" by the All-America Rose Selections.  Come and learn the techniques to make this garden, and YOUR garden a winner!
