Just a quick note that we have begun (just!) to organize a Rootstrkers
group in Los Angeles. We have had one meeting with all of two people
and will be, initially and generally, focused on getting the word out
and growing the group so we have a bit of manpower for further work.
If anyone is in the LA area, or knows anyone potentially interested in
the LA area, please forward:

Great, thank you. I will be connecting with the LA Move to Amend
group (organized by Mary Beth) this weekend, as well, who originally
pushed the resolution with the LA City Council.

Dan, I'm the Rootstriker Organizer for Philadelphia. I've been
working with Jay, whose the Rootstriker in San Franscico. He's doing
a really good job in SF. I would recommend seeing about connecting
with them either through the meetup page or join their google group.
Worse case, let me know if you can't get a hold of them and I'll pass
along an email.
