I kind of liked the whirlwindedness of it all - I think it made us cut the
crap and frills.

That being said...I'd say we should look at the start of next year at the
earliest. And I LOVE the venue idea.

GETTING SIDETRACKED.....

We could do a post-VALA unconf, with people sharing what they learned..if
everyone isn't conferenced out. I know Helene Blowers is happy to stop in WA
on her way home if we could just get funding for her trip from Melbourne to
Perth. (And accom for her and, hopefully her husband and 2 girls, as it's a
family holiday). Plus $500 speakers fee

And then there is Michael Stephens in March....he's willing to come here,
probably from Adelaide for travel, accom. and $1000 for 3 hour workshop.

Con, have you heard anymore from Lib about whether they'd be interested.
Jean M said that WAGUL probably wouldn't be. Nor is library school. Haven't
heard from Margaret Allen after I sent her details of those guys.
