Check out the Interactive Graphic on this page. When you click on the
Interactive Graphic link the first thing that comes up are instructions
on how to use it. When you click on Close for that, the actual graphic
comes up. It provides global average temperature trends over 140 years
showing that though there are periods where temperature drops, it makes
clear that these are micro trends within the overall trend of
significant increases.
