Assuming you are in north america, polulu.com has stepper drivers: 
http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1182 I think they are pin compatible, 
but I don't know for sure
second question: how and why is your stepper driver dead?
did you turn off the MB fan? did you crank the current regulator on the 
stepper driver up past "12 o'clock"? (mine are set to "9.30 o'clock")
