ULMC This Week: Battlements, fantasy and myth

After a great week with climbing, art and a great trip to the Roaches we have a packed week with climbing and our AGM. Please try to come.

TUESDAY: CLIMBING

We will be at Mile End Climbing wall from about 6.30pm. All levels are welcome including complete beginners. Just come and find us when you have signed up at the wall (we helpfully wear t-shirts saying ULMC), bring suitable clothes for climbing, shoes are available for hire. ULMC will provide harnesses for those who don't have them and ropes for those who lead climb. More details about the venue, prices, location etc can be found here: http://www.mileendwall.org.uk/

THURSDAY: AGM

The AGM will be held this Thursday at Cotswold, Holborn, with complete details being sent out later this week, so please look out for them!  We will also have a shopping night there and are trying to confirm a discount. The more people that come, the more likely it is we will be able to get future discounts/ shopping nights!

ULMC COMMITTEE 2013-14

As you all know, the committee is vital to the club continuing its good work next year, so if you're sticking around and have a bit of time and good will, we need you!

Nominations are open - email me if you want to stand for any particular position, or fancy nominating someone (please let them know they are being nominated).  The new committee will be voted in at our AGM (18th April) and we'll be conducting a gradual handover.

Here're the election rules:

1.  If you wish to stand for a position you must be nominated by 2 full club members (one may be yourself)
2.  The membership list of the club will be temporarily frozen from one week prior to the elections until the end of the meeting
3.  A vote will be held for all positions - should only one candidate be standing there will still be a vote against RON (re-open nominations).
