ULMC: Day Walk

Hi all,

The day walk will be this Sunday (5th May) to Maidstone/ Yalding.

We will do a circular walk around Yalding with an optional extension of the walk along the river.

The circular walk is 6 miles and will take just under 3 hours.

Some places will be muddy so walking boots or old trainers are appropriate
footwear. Smart shoes, flip-flops or denim jeans are not suitable. You also need to bring a waterproof coat, a packed lunch and some water to drink. It is advisable to bring some money as there are pubs in the area and if people want to we can stop off for a drink.

Travel details:
Outward: 9.30am train from Victoria.
Return: Either the 15.12 from Yalding or the 16.16 from Maidstone East (Both go back to Victoria)
Meet: Meeting by "The Pasty Shop" from 9am to get the 9.30am train. Phone Karl on: 0772 474 4592 if you cannot find us.
Cost: £11.75 with a rail card.
