Hi Folks
While I'm over at Elsworth tomorrow I thought I'd launch my own payload - XABEN48 :-
Call: HABLAB / Freq: 434.075MHz / Shift: 850Hz / 600 baud FSK / 7bit ASCII / No Parity / 1 stop
Filters need to be set quite wide (350Hz or so) at that rate.
Probably launching about 16:00.
I have not decided what balloon I will put it up on - so more details tomorrow.
This might be a bit of a workout for the trackers as position updates are every second. It will be interesting to see the range at that speed. Also trying the antenna arrangement I used on XABEN47 - so signal strength reports would be appreciated.
