  I think the fare it gives you first is always what you&#39;d be charged if &lt;br&gt; you didn&#39;t touch any barriers or readers along the way, which on some &lt;br&gt; journeys (like this one) assumes a cheaper route than the most &lt;br&gt; obvious. &lt;br&gt; U
