A T28-style MBUS cable, an internet connection and a logging account. Unless
you have £900ish required to purchase the direct unlocker.

How quickly the prices drop these days. I looked into it about a month ago,
but decided not to bother.

It depends if he is the sort who keeps up, or if he is the sort who has a
DCT3 nokia clip and nothing else. Drop me a line off-group, I can offer the
