I need to dial an 0844 number from my Orange contract mobile. According to
the price guide it looks like it costs 10p/min.

Is there a dialthrough provider who will connect to 0844 numbers or am I
better looking for rocking horse ****?

TIA.

There are a few prepaid or post paid callthroughs that will work
on Orange using a geo landline access number.
But whether they will give you much less than 10p per min for 0844
is something else

e.g. www.1899.com for non BT users

http://www.telecom-tariffs.co.uk/tarifres8.htm

Might be cheaper than 10p per min?

1. Regional Telecom offer good rates to 0844 from mobiles using their
indirect service, see http://www.regionaltelecom.com/mobile-reduced_rates

2. You maybe better off on a T-Mobile Flext tariff, as those calls are
included.

3. If you can still get on, or get hold of a tesco lite sim/tariff,
they charge 8p/min to 0844.

I forgot to mention Regional Telecom has a connection fee of 2.875p,
just so your aware.
T-Mobile Flext has a minimum charge of one minute, billed per second
thereafter.
