Got a reasonable deal from O2/Cellnet (moving from Line Advance) once I requested a PAC

I'd tried getting an upgrade to my phone after my last line advance deal had
finished, but no dice if I stayed on the L.Ad. They offered me a discounted
monthly line rental (200 mins for £25 rather than £30, for example) and a
free 6510/8310, but that was it.
However, when I called requesting a PAC to actually jump ship, they offered
me the free phone, discounted monthly rental PLUS 3 months free line rental.
And I can downgrade my tariff after I've had 3 free months of the 200
mins/month if I need to.

Might be helpful to others in the same situation?

Here's what I put in an earlier posting which you may find useful:

My line advance 100 subs runs out in October and I've been offered a choice
of Pay Up Front For Life tariffs from 02.

£99.00 up front for life, then a choice of tariffs

LeisureTime 200, 200mins free calls to UK landlines and 02 mobiles
eves/weekend, subsequent landline calls at
35p peak and 5p eves and weekends. Subsequent 02 mobile charges 20p/5p/2p

All Time 50, 50 mins free calls to UK landlines and 02 mobiles peak/off
peak, subsequent landline calls at 15p daytime 5p eves and 2p eves and
weekends. Subsequent 02 mobile charges 15p/5p/2p

Other mobile networks cost 50p/30p/30p on both options at all times.

I've also been offered an upgrade to an Ericsson T68i for £139.00 if I buy
now, whilst still on my existing line advance tariff so I will have a good
phone to keep me going for a while.

So as I only just use the 100 free minutes I'm already entitled to I thought
I'd go for the Leisure Time 200, but am I missing something, could I get a
better deal elsewhere? I'd also like to get a laptop running from one of
these packages in 6-12 months to transfer a small amount of data per month.

Is it worth replacing my 10 month old T39m with a T68i at present?
