Unusual request - does anyone know the best place to inject a couple of
phone numbers into one of those cold-call databases?

I'm so jealous of people that get tons of calls offering the prizes FFS,
I can't even get cold calls!

My telephone based spam filter 'The Old General' is just desperate to
take calls:

And then presumably you'll throw a paddy at BT when the calls don't stop...

Yep, it took three bloody months for me to get into the heads of the BT
drones that I didn't want their cold calls!

No, I really really want them :-) and yes, I've thrown it onto loads of
forums, local newspapers, gumtree, craigslist et al to try and get calls
- but it's just not happening form me :-(

Is that "Hi, it's Fred here calling on behalf of BT" ?

If so, it's nothing to do with BT. It's some crappy phone provider
trying to get you to switch your line over to them.

Next time they call, ask them if they are BT or not. They will try and
evade the question and force you back to their script. Just hang up or
leave the phone off the hook as you deem appropriate.
