I am afraid I don't know the answer but you may get some help at the
TBS 6280 forum http://www.tbsdtv.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=51

The documentation supplied on the micro cd mentions everything except the
TBS-6280 but I found a message on the user forum that says to use the
instructions for the TBS-6980. Well, they seem to compile /load everything
including the kitchen sink but I brought up kaffeine in about 5 minutes.
MythTV may take longer! Thanks for the link.

Best of luck. A couple of weeks ago I decided to build an HTPC and
initially decided on a 6280 but as our Freeview reception has
noticeably deteriorated since the trees between us and the transmitter
have come into leaf and we have anything stronger than a breeze, I
have decided to bite the bullet and go for Freesat with a 6981 card.

Astonishingly it went very well. Mythbuntu though is turning out to be a bit
unreliable. or rather the backend setup. I get periodic crashes. It offers
to restart and does so. Getting the program listings to display seems a
harder nut to crack. Still it is a lot easier than it was years ago.
