Farewell Kauto Star

I thought that the retirement of Kauto Star shouldn't go without a
mention. His exploits have probably been the main reason why my interest
in racing has been revived over the last ten years. (I know that
technically it ought to be "its exploits", but somehow that would seem
disrespectful and just plain wrong).
I see that Kauto Stone won a big race in Ireland today. Maybe Kauto
Star, who several times did the seemingly impossible, has pulled off the
genuinely impossible feat for a gelding of launching a dynasty. :) Yes,
I know that the horses are half-brothers rather than father and son, but
it's a nice conceit.
