COME TO BRITAIN FOR GOLF
5th July – 24th July 2000
With the Millennium Golf Open taking place at The Home of Golf, St Andrews,
Nick Potter and Manfred Schotten are delighted to present “Come to Britain
for Golf” an exhibition of golfing art and memorabilia celebrating the sport
from 1760 - 2000.
Following the great success of their"Then & Now" exhibition last year, they
have teamed up again to produce another wonderful collection offering a wide
range of artwork and memorabilia including: original watercolours and
illustrations by artists such as Frank Reynolds, early and rare prints,
engravings, some fine contemporary works, rare ceramics and novelty items,
together with highly sought after clubs and balls.
"Come to Britain for Golf" is indeed a great invitation for all players,
enthusiasts and collectors alike, and one not to be missed!
The Exhibition will be held at Nick Potter’s showroom in Sackville Street,
London from 5th – 24th July. A catalogue containing over 180 colour
illustrations of the items included in the exhibition is viewable on our
