so we're on 45 points after 18 games in, halfway to promotion which is
traditionally 90 points or so, at the current rate we should end the season
on 100 points plus, i'm predicting 92 points, if we put the huddersfield
challenge to bed on saturday i would go with 95 points with only norwich and
charlton to worry about, the big challenge is holding off the 3rd place
team.
If you compare this seasons results with last season's we are 13 points
ahead with the games played to date. last season from game 19 to end we
amassed 52 points, won 16 drew 4 and lost 8, so the same again should see us
safely up.
as for beckford, it's known that i'm not a big fan of his due to his
lacklustre displays in the play-offs, i think he's lazy, yes he gets the
goals but it's like playing with 10 men up to that point, i think grella is
much more intelligent and skilled, becks didn't kick a ball yesterday and we
played much better than the in the kettering game, i say sell him in
january.
We'd get fuck all for him Dan, who's gonna pay £5 mill for someone
with less than 6 months left on his contract?

I think Beckford will be moving on in January. I wouldn't be surprised
to see Grella moving to a midfield role one day. He's a bit small for a
striker and has a good touch and awareness on the ball.
