For someone who likes to copy and paste enormous wadges of text into Usenet, this seems awfully threadbare. Any reasons for this list? You've seen them all at close quarters many times? What makes them special?

RJ Burns. I'm sniffing an Irish connection. Rauri Seosamh Broin.

If there's an Irish (or indeed any non-English) connection then Robert
hasn't been able to find it, or Burns would never have been in his list.
Apparently he (Burns, that is) was born in Epsom.

Sometimes Robert doesn't look further than the end of his nose.
It's only a few years back when I fingered Murtagh as having Irish
connections. Robert was still selecting him this week, even though
Murtagh has already been playing for Ireland since Jan 2012.
Maybe that should be Muircheartach now ;)

The amount of Irish born playing in the counties is staggering when
you think how few cricketers there are in Ireland.
