Tech help please

usenet and get email via OE (please just don't, not now) I can't webbrowse.
Can anyone help me by emailing (if such a thing is possible) a browser
thingie like firefox or mozilla so I can get back properly online? The
email addresss I can access, for now, is:

I run windows M(istake).E(dition). I know, but please can we do the sniping
later thanks.

Erk - You have problems: Even a browser such as Firefox utilises a large
part of OE which is a part of the operating system rather than a seperate
entity. It sounds like you may have a corruption issue. I hope you've backed
up your system - If not I suggest that you back up all your important files
and whatever first; then try System Restore.

If that fails it may be the case that your ancient operating system
installation has finally borked out; which may mean a reinstall -
Preferrably of XP. (I doubt your existing computer will be able to run
Vista - And who'd want to run Vista anyway?)

(It's unfortunate that ME is the only Microsoft o/s that I'm allergic to.)

wanted to download anything at all I appear (touchwood) to have firefox
active and (touch wood) to be online proper again. Thank you, you guys are
the best.
It is asking me to download stuff to letch me watch flash animation and some
types of streaming video, should I risk downloading these "plugins"? I mean
I'd like to be able to go to surfthechannel.com and animecrunch again, it's
way better than tv after all, but I don't want to trash the computer
(again).
Ugh, dear deities, give me a couple of months without major expenses mugging
me and maybe Ican get one of those TESCO cheapy laptops.
I miss my old P75 computer than ran fine with mosaic as browser and win95 as
OS.

I sent it from my SMTP server via a private company server and I think the
entire .exe file was delivered. I couldn't send it any other way.

might have been filtered, for a file from activate at telecomplus dot org

Flash plugins enable the browser to be able to play flash animations; so
you'll probably find it useful. remember that Firefox is Open Source; and is
a different experience to OE.

I suggest you forget Tesco overpriced sh1t and try http://www.ebuyer.com

Yeah I miss my old 286; but I'm glad I've built a much better one. See
