I'd volunteer location, but it's - well, cramped :( But *perks* if people wanna put up with the squishing, that'd be an inspiration to finish the spring-cleaning for once ... and I can do whatever date suits everyone ..

Not sure where Troon is, but me and the family will be having a holiday somewhere around the w coast in August.

Say that again. IN LOUD LETTERS.
At this moment I can make no guarantee but the idea appeals and I'm willing to pencil it in as soon as you offer a date.

If past experience is anything to go by, we are unlikely to find a date which suits everyone so may I suggest, Halla, you as the host offer us a date which suits you. What did you have in mind when you first posted your invitation?

Troon. That brings back memories of the summer of '47 - just before I was called up for military service. Lovely scenery (Troon, that is, not the military!)

Would love to see you folks. It's strange being close electronically with so little face-to-face contact.
I have a non-pagan friend visiting until the end of August, which might make things difficult. And the weekends just before and after solstice are booked for me.
Anyone going to the Beltane bash next weekend? I probably won't, as my friend will just have arrived. -- http://www.decohen.com Send e-mail to the Reply-To address; mail to the From address is never read

Isn't it just. And I doubt many of us even bother to do the old 'phone cally stuff, or even email each other all that often. <sigh> I reckon we need to do a massive snail mail addy update (off the internet, of course) just so's we all know where each other is if we suddenly find ourselves in a major political blow-out situation. Or something. Heck, I don't think I even know everyone's email addy these days (since Ggroups is a bit unhepful 'cause it obscurifates(sp?) everyone's but mine).

Don't s'pose those with sprogs are gonna get matching half term weeks early Oct are they? Just thinking that takes the pressure off for the summer cram - not that I'd mind going somewhere - ANYWHERE - in the summer. Heck, I just wanna get away for a bit (and Daughter's nagging too "are we having a meet this year" "is anyone having a meet this year" "why can't we go to a meet this year" <sigh>).

I won't as we don't get to go anywhere 'cause we've still got this bloody decorating to do. Whinge whinge whinge whinge. ;)

Not settled yet. Probably a mix of B&B and camping. We originally wanted to get over to the W Isles but the ferry would cost us an extra £200.
