Divine Attribute - The Forebearing (Al-Haleem)

[HIND]

1= The Forebearing (Al-Haleem) is among attributes of God. It connotes
One Who forgives, One Who does not punish the disobedient at once, One
Who does not get irritated due to disobedience and One Who covers the
faults of others.

2= Divine attributes other than The Forebearing (Al-Haleem) manifest
when a person keep exceeding limits.

3= And if Allah were to punish people for their wrongdoing, He would
not leave on (earth) a living creature, but He gives them respite till
an appointed term and when their term comes they cannot remain behind
(it) a single second, nor can they go ahead. [16:62]

4= Those who mock at Prophets of God or think God does not exist and
nothing will be judged are answered as above…..If God’s wrath to them
does not come fast it is not proof they are correct and are free to
make fun of Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah on him and all
holy prophets)…God waits until arguments and proofs are fully
understood….God keeps a live watch till time of justice comes.

5= Prompt chastisement will terminate the human race therefore God
gives opportunity because from wicked people pious people can be born.
If all wrongdoers had been punished promptly then the today’s pious
people would not have existed. The definite payback will be on the Day
of Judgement. However, some people who follow Satan are shown a sample
of Hell in this world too.

6= By virtue of divine attribute The-Gracious (Al-Rahman), God
created and arranged all necessities for mankind’s survival well
before human were made….If God was to punish and wipe out human, He
would have eliminated the creation which is a vital for human
survival. This would have ended the humanity with disaster.

7= Impious people can have pious offsprings thus prompt punishment is
not usual divine way…The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him)
demonstrated the best understanding of the divine attribute The-
Forebearing (Al- Haleem). In his early prophethood, during his visit
to a town named Ta’if evil peple from town persecuted him but he
prayed to God to forgive them in the hope that righteous people would
be born from their families…Time proved he was right. He got devoted
loving followers.

8= God gives time so that people may change their conditions and turn
to Him.

9= Crisis like Bird Flu and BSE, the bovine neurodegenerative disease
are like divine reminders. If it happens that God was to cause one
kind of animals infected with a sickness there would be tragedy on the
planet.

10= If human will not stop from interfering in God’s work then Divine
attributes other than The-Forebearing would act….Those who contend
with God and His Prophets are mentioned as worm of earth (35:46)…
Respite to them is accordance with His laws.

11= The holy caliph of holy promised messiah ( w.mta.tv) explained
about the appointed time of success; it comes with precision but only
God know about its time of occurrence…..To come under the umberalla of
divine attributes *Most-Forgiving and The-Forbearing* One need to keep
one’s heart and deeds pure with constant self-checks in the way to
seek pleasure of Allah; one must not say anything which curtails
honesty and justice….God is Forbearing one should also adopt
forbearance…One’s acts should be disobedience free..One should avoid
quarrels…Dismising a bad thought is a virtue rewarded but deciding to
carry it out is a sin.

12= Divine attribute The-Forbearing (Haleem) is mentioned with other
divine attribute The-Most-Forgiving (Ghafoor); it signifies God
overlooks thus it is for human to get benefit instead of crossing the
limitations.
