One way of stopping this problem is to wire the aerial up and before you refit the junction box cap, fill it with mastic or stern tube grease as its water proof. One of the problems with water in the junction box it runs down the cable (inside) into the back of the TV. This does happen. Wet patches on the carpet and you blame the cat.... more »
