I am looking for an oil pressure gauge for Draco, I already have two fitted,
one on the engine panel and one remoted to the pigeon box for viewing from
the steering position, these are both small 2 inch diameter modern thingys.
What I want is a nice brass one, probably between 4 and 6 inches diameter,
with a maximum reading of between 75 and 100psi, preferably, but not vital,
with the input spigot on he bottom so it can be mounted through the roof .
Anyone know where I might obtain one, my usual sources seem to be dry?

Mike, try Charles Mills the Gardner engine man. Just fixed me up with
one, he even made a brass plate and bracket, plus all the unions etc.
looks magnificent. His number is 07712 052635. His workshop is at the
Anson Engine Museum, Poynton near Stockport.
Roger.
There is this chap (Michael List Brain) who has a few that may suit:

Get sat comfy before you enquire about prices :-) And don't argue with him
'cos he's a solicitor too!!

Yes I did, a couple of possibilities, but no answers to my queries yet
Turn the lights out on your way out :->
Thanks Brian,
Roger M posted this elsewhere, I have left an enquiry, but get the
impression they may be too expensive for me :->
Thanks Roger.
Thanks J, I have emailed a spec for a quote if he has anything suitable.
BTW, you and others here seem to forget that I am just a poor pensioner
nowadays....
Ah Mike. there are so many of us. Perhaps the answer is we buy a brass
gauge and share it around, whenever someone is getting suspicious of
low pressure??

Now there's a thought :->

We also need one to cope with high pressure.
My healthcare assistant, Debbie does a lot of worrying about mine (:-)
Trouble is - I am convinced that the sight of her takes my pressure up,
even before she starts pumping the thingy (:-(

I have not (yet) been given the choice of thingies unfortunately !
All I get is the rubber bulb treatment attached to a tube.
S'pose it could help in relieving hypertension as well (:-)

Hi David,
I have just received a mail delayed notice from my ISP regarding the email I
sent to you at SCARS. Consequently, let's do it on here if you like, can you
give me a price area you would be happy with for just the oil pressure
gauge?
