Location of this photo?

Anyone able to identify the location of this photo please? It's one of
many old downloads from Flickr using 'landscape' as keyword. I'm pretty
sure it's in the UK but I'm curious as to where exactly.

Are you sure you got it from Flickr and it's not in fact one of your own
photos?
The only reason I ask is that TinEye doesn't find it and I'd be very
surprised indeed if TinEye didn't have all Flickr images in it's database.

I tried another half dozen with same failure to find hits.

Well I get no hits on either of those but I can tell you that the Mountain
is the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps, but I assume you already knew that.

Google Image Search finds it here on Flickr:

Though that doesn't say much about where it is. It is in a group for "La
Mancha" (Spain), so presumably in that area.

So, looks like it's Spain, not UK!

After further browsing I've come to the conclusion that TinEye is next to
useless. And it certainly doesn't "have all Flickr images in its database"
;-)


Google Image Search did better on my tests but that too failed to find the
image under discussion.

Thanks Craig, just saw your post after my reply to David. As you see, my
attempt yesterday with Google Image Search failed, but that must have been
down to me because after seeing your reply I tried again, successfully.

At least I now know that I can't walk that area in the UK!

TinEye is rubbish compared to Google image search. I've never found
anything with it.

It's quite a lot more 'left and down' than that! :) Parque Cerrillos is

If you have the original filename from Flickr, then you can use this

One of the pages I looked at had it as the title of the page and I was
curious to see where that was. Sorry, should have posted the URL at the
time.

I'm in a 32bit VM on an Netbook running 64bit Win7 (don't ask) at the
moment and I haven't installed a working web browser yet so can't look
for the exact page now but I'll try and find it again when I'm back on
something more sensible.
