At a meeting this evening I was asked if the new style guide
(
http://www.scouts.org.uk/supportresources//search?cat=460,263,597) was
something that we should all follow from now on.
I wasn't sure exactly how to respond, I've been just a wee bit critical
in a thread on escouts, but it's clearly taken a while to assemble so
presumably is meant to be taken seriously. The preamble says it's not
trying to create a straightjacket, but I for one couldn't feel
comfortable with most of the recommendations. So many are either
erroneous, or do not compare like with like in the examples.
So, is this now a tablet of stone, approved by TSA? Does anybody else
have any views?
