Anyhue...did anyone go to the London Boat Show? I went with my Fiance on
Saturday and had a great time, I got a great deal on a new Musto offshore
suit, (my thanks to the people at the Mailspeed Marine stand, they gave
excellent service). I still am amazed at the amount of protection the Musto
collars give, although Earl's Court, with thousands of people and an
ineffective air-con system is the best place to try on oilies....
cheers

I'm happy to be of service.

We were there Saturday, should have arranged to meet. We both have
MUSTO breathable wet weather gear, and are both extremely pleased. My
only gripes are the hood, which has a little brim to keep out the
rain, unfortunately I find the hood damn uncomfortable and
restrictive. Oh, the salopets <s> do not zip down the front so you
have to undress to take a leak, small gripes but gripes all the same.

I didn't find the hood that bad, maybe I will in the wet thou...my sallopets
have a double zip down the front so u can unzip from the bottom to go have a
whizz. I haven't experimented with this yet, it may not be such an
innovative idea. My only gripe is that the salopets don't have an inner
latex seal at the ankles, the pair I have been borrowing for the last year
was a Helly Hansen offshore bib, these did, I found it very useful being on
the bow, water tended to ride up under the outer seal and inside my boots
otherwise....they still appear to be the only company that do them. I don't
get why they put the seals on the wrists and not the ankles!
I am looking forward to trying them out this year, hopefully they will keep
me warm and try.
Cheers
Simon
