I'm about to start building a boat. Does anyone know of the best place to
buy Marine ply in the UK. I'll need at least 11 sheets of 12mm and 3 or 4 of
9mm.

This is the one I have been recommended, but as yet have not used them.
The boat refit starts post-boat show!

Depends where you are I guess - if you, live in scotland eveen the cheapest
ply shipped from Cornwall would be a bit costly.

I'm in salsibury and we have a decent local wood merchant here - much
cheaper than the london stockists.

Some time ago someone posted the url of the webcam at Largs Yacht Haven.
Unfortunately I have lost it and I would greatly appreciate it being
either posted or mailed.

Wouldn't it be quicker for you to look out of the window, Sandy ;-)

I was trying to find it for a customer who came in yesterday to hire some
bikes!

And there is a wee hill in the way:-) And much off topic the end of the
hill just south of Keppel Pier is called Victorias Face - looks exactly
like the profile of Queen Victoria on old (very) pennies.

And to be totally completely and utterly off topic - Ar Bata is broke -
the sump rusted through and the nearest available one is in Sweden. If
any kind soul sailing through Millport Bay wants to give me a wave it will
make me still feel at home with the sea - 100 metres east of the
Crocodile:-)

Originally two old guys who were part of the "Toddy Parade" in the early
1900's

Last time was Ion McBay our local blacksmith.

If that's Millport on Great Cumbrae, we passed you today on our way into
Largs from Portpatrick. Would have waived had we known!

Graham.
