You will remember that place, and brandish the scar it left in you. You
will no longer look down your nose at me as if you were holier than me,
better than me, or above me. Instead you are my equal.
You must from now on work and struggle to survive, if you are going to rise
above it. Nobody can do the work for you; you'll have to forge ahead on
your own.
You will never recover in full what you once had.
Your burden will be reasonable, something you're able to do, but you must
keep working at it; you're not going to be enabled this time from pretending
to be a weak victim.
When Jane is avenged, if you played any part of it, you deserve no special
treatment for any reason, and you will be prosecuted as though you were
anyone else. Then you can put your special talents to work to survive in
prison.
