Once I'd had a bit of fun playing with pole
getting a pea-whistle or hooter or moo
and thought of implications for training
simulators on whether the tones were
grid-position related or assigned at series
start, and whether first and last might
have small, bookended ranges, I thought
about the more informal sports participation.
At this point I did appreciate that although
radio patches do augment broadcast
coverage already - with pitting and other
comments from teams to drivers coming
over like a '70s taxicab carry-on, the basic
principle of associative preparatory cueuing
could be done easily enough with helmet
technology, indeed,sufficiently flexible a
few years' development may be required
for individual tracks. It does create a slightly
different polyVenn(*) of competitive fulcra
but seems to hae potential enough to be
worth floating where it may get applied.
