You want a nice scythe, you do. Lovely, absorbing procedure, swinging a
scythe.

Sadly, only the nylon string. I don't think I'd trust myself with the
metal blade....

Well, I'm pretty unlikely to find dog shit in my back garden. And
there's nothing wrong with slugs :-)

I got into a discussion about strimmers with a mate down the pub. He said
something like "can you use them in the rain?".
Reply went along the lines of "no, they're either electrical whereupon you'd
get a resonably harmful shock, or it's petrol powered which might work but
the greenery would be wet making for difficult progress."
His answer was most puzzling: "Oh. Right. That's why they don't let
children use them. Or cats."
As this was so weird it was obviously going to lead onto some witty comment,
so I had to stop him dead with "cats don't use strimmers because they're too
busy drilling behind the sofa."

Then there was more beer and much rejoicing, Yay.

I can do *wicked* static stoppies, but the rolling variety escape me [1]

[1] Unless you count that incident where Champs, I and Batey nearly
head-on'd a truck about 3 weeks after I got the 9R :-)=

You should try it. No, really! It's good to know just how much braking
you've got. As for stoppies, My old TDM used to be great for the, but it
seems to be impossible on the Triumph, even if I lean forward right over the
bars. The front tyre will always skid first, regardless of how good the
surface is.
