Wanting to stay with HP, the HX2410 looks to fit the bill between
somthing that has the connectivity and card support and not being too
expensive. Coupling this with a mount such as
http://www.pdamods.com/proddetail.asp?prod=A11CRX2110MNT&cat=116 would
seem to be a neat solution for his new Focus.
Has anybody tried the 2410/TT3.1/BT?
Anything else I should consider? He just wants the PDA for navigation,
but I think once he starts using it he might find other uses for it as
well ;-). I'm particularly concerned that it will have 100% reliability
with the BT GPS (using Ambeon BT112A) as I don't want to spend all my
time on telephone support with him.....
Cheers
Kev
If you use CF for map storage on the 2110 it all works perfectly, no need to
revert to a wired receiver.
Unless he has a need for PDA functionality, in my experience you'd be far
better getting him a dedicated device or you'll be forever re-installing
when he leaves it uncharged and it dies!
