Monty Don's Pink and White Tulip?
Happened bu chance to see some of Gardener's World on Friday (generally avoid on account of unctuous presenters - btw that Aberdonian chap on Beechgrove Garden is a refreshing change!). Saw some pink and white tulips in pots and a few in the ground. They were stunning. Anyone know them (name? supplier?)? Googled around but no... more »

Gravelled bed

The proposal is to lay weed control fabric over the area and then apply approximately 60mm of gravel, possibly leaving a narrow bed at one edge for small... more »

I don't think my local garden centre sells either of these.... more »

I hate to say it, but another unproductive year.
Brassicas have wilted. ALL of them. I don't think it is cabbage root fly because I have taken precautions, such as collars around them. No Brussels sprouts this year, again. Is there still time to have another go at it this year? Baz
